Lisa Parsons is a visual artist and writer currently living in Portland, Oregon. She has won Honorable Mentions in the Feature Article category and the non-rhyming poetry category of the Writers Digest Magazine contests.  She has also won an Honorable Mention for her photo of the Lion on the facade of the Temple Beth Israel in NW Portland in the Angels in the Architecture Contest of the Architectural Heritage Center in Portland, OR.  She has shown her artwork and photos in Oregon,Washington, California,and New York City. She is a member of the Oregon Women's Caucus for Art and Willamette Writers.
